1. What the service is
FixLedger analyzes source documents you choose to upload and reports possible explanations for variances between records. It is an accounting review aid. It does not maintain your books, submit filings, or change your accounting records.
2. Not professional advice
Nothing produced by the service is accounting, tax or legal advice. Sales-tax items are flagged for review only. Accounting and tax rules differ by country and by state or province; you remain responsible for your filings and for engaging a qualified professional.
3. Your responsibilities
You confirm you are entitled to upload the documents you provide, that the figures in them are what you intend to analyze, and that you will review every finding and its supporting evidence before acting on it.
4. Accounts
Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account used to abuse the service or to break the law.
5. Beta status
The service is in beta and provided free of charge. Features may change. Paid plans will be announced before any charge is made.
6. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may take the service down for maintenance.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of a finding that was not reviewed by a qualified person.
8. Ending your use
You can delete your stored data at any time from the Privacy & data screen, and ask us to close your account.
